Youth Arts meets ParliAMENT
This week we brought together the first ever Youth Arts Meets Parliament event in South Australia hosted by Minister Andrea Michaels and Minister Emily Bourke and many other Members of Parliament this week at Parliament House.
This event will brought together many South Australian leaders in child and youth arts, young people, and Members of Parliament to honour the critical role of arts and culture in fostering the wellbeing of children and young people.
At the event, Kindred Australia released a Research Insights Paper and a one-minute media reel - see them below.

Entitled Insights into the evidence of the role of arts and culture in improving childhood and youth wellbeing and flourishing, Associate Professor Tully Barnett and Dr Fiona Sprott, in collaboration with Flinders University, aligned the report with the Australian Children's Wellbeing Index, emphasising the role of the arts in reducing isolation, building confidence, and promoting mental health.
